Cafe Pasqual's Restaurant Review:
Cafe Pasqual’s has long been a local favorite, and the place is generally packed with patrons enjoying leisurely meals that span New Mexican, Mexican, and global cuisine. Conventional go-to breakfast options include huevos rancheros spilling over with black beans and homemade green chile, and those craving more eclectic fare can dive into savory smoked trout hash laden with golden Gruyère as well as griddled polenta with chorizo and roasted corn niblets. Dinner options run the gamut --- Vietnamese flash-sautéed scallops share menu space with Bengal curried red lentil dahl and organic slow-cooked pork marinated Yucatan-style and wrapped in a banana leaf. The décor is just as lively as the food, featuring hand-painted Mexican tiles and murals by Mexican painter Leovigildo Martinez and artisanal clay cookware.
