Cafe Reggio Restaurant Review:
This charming Greenwich Village landmark has been serving coffee, pastries and inexpensive meals to the bohemian crowd since 1927. In addition to the fine cappuccino, the espresso they claim to have “introduced to America,” and the decadent hot chocolate, the menu features "light" options such as Italian pastries plus heartier fare like a tomato-basil panino or an omelet filled with ricotta and spinach. You’ll also find pastas, sandwiches, soup and a selection of sweets for dessert. Portions are smallish but with prices that are tough to beat: just ask the crowd waiting for their java fix.
