THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Cafe Rose Restaurant Review:
This delightful little restaurant, which looks forlorn situated in the motel parking lot, has been a magnet for the local Persian community for years. Once upon a time you might have found a famous Persian poet seated here with his cup of Persian tea. Hence, Persian music makes the perfect background for a meal of home-made stuffed grape leaves, the delightful aush reshdeh (a Persian vegetable and noodle soup) and one of the many kabob choices. As always, we love the kubideh kabob, but we also applaud the cooks gormeh sabzi, or beef stew, and the eggplant bademjan was topnotch, as too, are the rice platters with various meat toppings. Small and unprentious, Café Rose remains a favorite with Persians and Westerners alike.
