Cafe Selmarie Restaurant Review:

This small combination bakery-pastry shop-café is a busy place at lunchtime and on weekends. It’s understandable --- fresh flowers and white tablecloths make for a charming daytime sojourn. The menu features light continental fare: pasta, salads, Brie and tuna salad croissant sandwiches, potpies, soups and all sorts of seasonal dishes. During the dinner hour, however, expect to find heftier fare, perhaps wild mushroom ravioli, jerk-spiced chicken or crêpes filled with lump crab in brandy cream sauce. Tortes, cheesecakes and fruit tarts come by the slice or whole; try the Selmarie torte and the German-style cheesecakes. Everything is made fresh, and the espresso and cappuccino are quite fine, too.
