Cafe Sunflower Restaurant Review:
Cafe Sunflower presents a comfortable, contemporary design that works for business as well as date dining. The kitchen composes dishes for vegetarians and vegans that span the culinary range. We think the best bets are those that are naturally vegetarian, such as pad thai or the grilled eggplant stack. Of course, there are many dishes made with seitan to suggest meat, such as a grilled seitan steak with chimichurri and the “chicken” on the brunch menu. Organic produce is served whenever feasible. Gluten-free fare is a focus, too. Desserts are successfully executed; there is a peanut butter mousse cake plus lots of other choices. At this location only, beer and wine are offered, and while the choices are not bad, the list is limited.
