Cafe Sushi Restaurant Review:
Café Sushi stands at the entrance to the Cambridge Crossings, under a monstrous lavender clock structure. The restaurant itself exudes understated elegance, with a predominantly European look, yet the menus are Japanese in flavor. After discovering the sushi, sample the beef teriyaki, tender and satisfying, served on a bed of bean sprouts with steamed carrots and potatoes; delicate salmon teriyaki is plated in the same fashion. Shrimp tempura is light and crunchy. Main courses come with traditional miso soup and a rice bowl. Omakase dinners are an option, too, as is nabemono, done to your liking tableside. A nice wine list includes globally sourced selections by the bottle and glass. The house saké, either hot or cold, is available by the bottle or carafe.
