A few years ago the idea of barbecue chicken, duck sausage, black beans and other exotic toppings on a pizza in a Chicago pizzeria (albeit one with the word California in its name) would have fallen into the fable category. CPK has folded nicely into the Chicago pizza scene, and is almost like family now. The thin-crust wood-burning oven pizzas are very good, but do not overlook the very creative pastas and salads.
