California Pizza Kitchen Restaurant Review:

Including “California” in the name leads one to expect healthy fare, and CPK doesn’t disappoint. Besides pizza, the extensive menu offers healthy soups, salads, tacos and sandwiches. Inventive toppings include roasted garlic and artichoke, California Club (with avocado and bacon), pear and Gorgonzola, and B.L.T. --- complete with mayonnaise. Share small plates such as crispy mac ‘n’ cheese fritters and flatbread with shaved mushrooms with friends while sipping on a beer or mojito. Among pasta dishes, we recommend the rich garlic cream fettuccine with your choice of meat toppings. Vegetarians will like the healthy, hearty salads such as the arugula and quinoa. Salads are large, but you can get a half-order. Sweet fans will enjoy pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate soufflé cake topped with whipped cream. Okay, so it’s not all healthy, but it’s surely all tasty. A surprisingly large selection of wine, beer and spirits is available, too.
