THIS RESTAURANT IS NOW A PRIVATE EVENT SPACE The Century Room Restaurant Review:
The Century Room in the Hotel Jerome (listed on the National Register of Historic Places) is one of the most beautiful and authentically Old Aspen restaurants in town. The crystal chandeliers, roaring fire and fine service and cuisine evoke memories of Diamond Jim Brady and Lily Langtry, and indeed the swells of the Gold Rush days did dine here when the chef had been imported from Delmonico's in New York. Today, chef Todd Slossberg is in charge and the Hotel Jerome, under the smooth hand of general manager Tony DiLucia, is better than ever. The cuisine is top drawer American with fillips of luxury---truffles and wild mushrooms gathered locally. The rack of Colorado lamb is topnotch and the sommelier will steer you straight through the notable cellar. Ask for the table in front of the fireplace.
