Charlie's Steak House Restaurant Review:
Steakhouses come and go, but locals have clamored for the limited number of tables at Charlie’s Steak House as far back as the Great Depression. Charlie's big attraction is its choice of an extra-thick ten-ounce filet; 14-ounce New York strip; 18-ounce rib-eye; a juicy 26-ounce T-bone; or “The Charlie,” a 32-ounce T-bone. Good au gratin potatoes and mushrooms bordelaise are the stuff of New Orleans dining memories. You can also get a decent glass of red wine to go with your steak. Dessert means Italian ice creams, spumoni and biscotti from Angelo Brocato.
