Chengdu Cuisine of China Restaurant Review:
Chengdu serves what's arguably the best Chinese food in the area (sorry, Butterfly fans) in a modern, stylish space: think brick and stone walls, cool bamboo curtains, bright neon lighting, even a gate-enclosed patio. As a result, it's much more satisfying to eat in than to take out. What's more, in addition to the traditional Americanized favorites --- General Tso's chicken, Peking duck for two and so on --- it also offers several of its own interpretations of the cuisine, like the Rock 'N' Roll Beef or the Hot Hot Phoenix Chicken (which, true to its repetitive name, is on the spicy side). Vegetarian options abound as well.
