Chicken Bowl isn’t really much more than a bricked-in walk-up with patio-style seating; it's a no frills operation. The food is chopped chicken or steak sauced with teriyaki and served in a bowl over rice or noodles. This is a model of efficiency offering only two sizes, large or small. Variations include hot garlic shrimp, orange chicken and sweet-and-sour chicken. You can ask for extra hot sauce, and garlic lovers should try the spicy garlic sauce. Extra protein is available for a nominal fee. All in all, it’s a quick and tasty take-out meal for very little money, and sometimes that really hits the spot.
