City Thai Restaurant Review:

With its colorful walls, slate accents and long inlaid-glass wall sculpture, this slick, contemporary Thai spot is good to look at, but it may be a case of more style than substance. The menu has a full complement of familiar Thai dishes --- satays, curries, noodles --- and also a few items like tamarind shrimp and spicy soft-shell crab. It occupies one of Old Pasadena's better locations and makes a convenient pre-movie destination. Lunch specials, all priced under $10, include spinach stir-fry with peanuts, and monsoon salmon noodles.
