Columbia City Ale House Restaurant Review:

Columbia City Ale House has been serving local microbrews and crowd-pleasing comfort food since before either of these became hot buzzwords for bars. The menu is heavy on down-to-earth classics such as mac ‘n’ cheese, a Reuben sandwich, and a tuna melt with a green chili kick. Sharable dishes include oven-roasted curried cashews, three-cheese focaccia, and swordfish bruschetta. Rotating specials run along the lines of vegetarian lasagna, or a lamb and sausage sandwich. In addition to the suds, a short wine list features mostly Northwest options. In this casual venue eating alone at the bar is easy, or plan to meet up with friends. Mondays feature the popular Taco Nights special.
