THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Confederate House Restaurant Review:

While remaining true to its southern roots, Confederate House serves up a varied menu of entrées, including the crowd pleasers of herb and mustard-crusted rack of lamb, grilled veal chops, topped with a morel mushroom sauce, and a pan-seared Chilean sea bass, topped with smoked tomato butter. Traditional favorites include the pecan-crusted red snapper, with popcorn rice timbale; char-grilled filet mignon, with a béarnaise sauce; and gulf crab and green pea ravioli, in a brandy shellfish sauce. Rebels, unable to surrender to the new flavors of the south, can seek refuge with the lunch menu of such southern comforts as the Confederate fried steak or chicken served with cream gravy and mashed potatoes or the Confederate House meatloaf, nestled next to creamy macaroni and cheese. If that doesn’t have you whistlin’ dixie, nothing will.
