Copenhagen’s bakery and café exist side-by-side with the windows of the bakery proper filled with twisted breads and pastries, cakes and cookies. Order at the counter in the café and take a number to your table to await your food, or bring a pastry with you to start. The corned beef hash scramble, one of several popular breakfast dishes served until 1:30 p.m. during the week and 2:30 p.m. on weekends, can easily serve two. Any of the omelets, each made with three eggs and paired with potatoes and toast, start off big enough, but for $1 you may add a danish or croissant. Other egg dishes and a selection of waffles and french toast make this an optimal breakfast spot all the way through lunch.
