Coppelia Restaurant Review:

Chef Julian Medina, who runs the successful Mexican and pan-Latin eateries Toloache and Tacuba, respectively, has come up with a winning formula at this Chelsea restaurant: a casual diner-like atmosphere that serves up comfort food-like pan-Latin fare. The menu, which is served 24 hours a day, is massive and not for the indecisive. Mac ‘n’ cheese gets the Latin treatment with the inclusion of pork belly and chicharron, and even the Asian-Latin fusion craze makes an appearance with kimchi tacos. Jalapeño-bacon grilled cheese is worth a look, as is the lo mein saltado, a Chinese-accented take on the Peruvian stir-fry. The wine list, its every bottle from the Spanish-speaking world, is affordably priced; likewise are the house cocktails (try the Sangría Peruana).
