THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Courtyard Cafe Restaurant Review:
The elegant design sense of the Ghent Market and Antique Center has extended to its sole restaurant tenant. This refined, well-decorated and antique-dotted breakfast and lunch spot offers American cuisine with decidedly Greek influences to patrons of the market and those who come just to dine. A menu of soups, sandwiches, salads and specials reads fairly mainstream but offers a few surprises. Consider soup options like French onion and clam chowder but also she-crab. Sandwiches range from a Ruben and roast beef to vineyard chicken that contains nuts, oranges and mayonnaise (this specialty can also be ordered as a salad). The Greek touch is most apparent with the specials: gyros and the occasional moussaka. The dessert mix including cheesecake, carrot cake and baklava are appropriate.
