Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Restaurant Review:
If you consider yourself a food snob, it's hard to think of Cracker Barrel as a place to go for a good meal. But if you're looking for comfort food, it’s hard to beat this chain, known to anybody who regularly travels interstate highways. There are literally dozens of choices for breakfast, like eggs in the basket: sourdough toast with eggs fried in the center. For something sweet, try the pecan or wild Maine blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup. For breakfast or dinner, don’t miss the hash brown casserole. If you just want vegetables (mac ‘n’ cheese counts as a veggie here), you can order a plate with four served with biscuits or cornbread. Looking for something a bit healthy? The grilled chicken tenderloin is quite tasty. For dessert, don't miss the chocolate cobbler. This location is near the Universal Studios entrance on Kirkman Rd.
