Creperie de la Paix Restaurant Review:
Crêperie de la Paix boasts location, location, location, smack in the center of Mexico City’s leafy, fashionable Condesa neighborhood, with ample outdoor seating affording a great view of the area’s easy-on-the-eyes hipster pageant. As for the food, keep it mighty simple (breakfast and coffee may be the surest bets). While the French onion soup is acceptable (though still marred by a strange sweetness), the Miles Davis crêpe may be tough going, with a spongy pancake drowning in béchamel sauce enclosing some odd bits of desiccated chicken breast and mushrooms that are hard to discern within the oily morass. On the plus side, service is entirely attentive and the people-watching---inside and out---is sans pareil.
