Crisp Restaurant Review:
If the name doesn’t tip you off to what this Lakeview restaurant is all about, perhaps the roll of paper towels on each of the communal tables will. Specializing in Korean fried chicken, Crisp isn’t for those who are afraid to get their hands dirty. But don’t worry. The very flavorful --- and yes, crispy --- chicken is worth the mess. You're a purist? Go for the Plain Jane with different sauces. More adventurous? Try the Seoul Sassy (a family recipe) with a subtly sweet sauce, ginger, soy, garlic and other spices. For a lighter and healthier lunch, try the Buddha Bowls, including one that’s a variation of Korean bibimbop with plenty of veggie add-ins topped off with rice and a fried egg. Hungrier? There's also a play on Korean bulgogi (barbecue beef) with steamed white rice.
