Del Frisco's Grille, with its reputation for offering expense-account steaks and New American cuisine, is among the array of upscale restaurants along Boy Scout Boulevard. There are choices of outdoor seating: a patio and an upper deck with a Westshore view. Some of the most popular items on the menu are the simplest in concept; for example, truffled mac ‘n’ cheese or even The Daily Dish, which can range from chicken potpie to pappardelle Bolognese. The signature selection is the ahi tacos comprising ahi tartare and avocado topped with a spicy citrus mayo. Seafood can include grouper, almost a mandatory Florida option; or Bay of Fundy shrimp served with arugula-citrus salad. Desserts are popular for a late-evening sugar rush, with suitable-for-sharing choices such as coconut cream pie and Nutella bread pudding.
