Del Seoul Restaurant Review:
Korean tacos have long been the rage elsewhere. Del Seoul, which comes from a brother and sister team who worked at Senoya in Niles, caters to this craving with variations like gochujang-infused barbecue pork. Other favorites include various banh mi sandwiches with Korean bulgogi (barbecue beef), spicy barbecue pork and sesame-chili shrimp --- all get a burst of brightness from pickled daikon, jalapeño, cilantro, red pepper aïoli and other sauces. When sharing, don't pass up the kalbi poutine, fries topped with slow-braised short rib, demi sauce, blended cheese, seasoned crema, scallions and pickled red onions. It's a meal in itself. Bento box dinners add extra value, with Korean barbecue, egg omelette slices and mixed greens over steamed rice.
