Diablo Burger Restaurant Review:
It’s hard to find a seat in this cash-only eatery just off Flagstaff’s historic Heritage Square in the heart of downtown. Walk up to the counter and order a free-range, locally raised beef burger and choose from among a dozen toppings. From the Marilyn cheeseburger (choose from sharp cheddar, Swiss, blue cheese, pepper jack, provolone or Black Mesa chèvre) to the guacamole and jalapeño-topped The Cheech, there are dozens of styles to suit every taste. The burgers come with a side of good fries, sprinkled with a salt and fresh rosemary blend. The menu also features veggie burgers made with local products, grilled cheese and a soup of the day. Plus there's a kids’ menu with smaller burgers and grilled cheese. To drink? Bottles of microbrews, wine from family-owned vineyards across the West, Mexican Cokes and Thomas Kemper ginger ale and root beer.
