THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Dimassi's Restaurant Review:
THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED The counter staff in this cafeteria piles the thoroughly satisfying food high: cucumber salad, hummus, potatoes, rice, eggplant, tomatoes, green beans, fork-tender lamb braised on the bone, roasted chicken, spinach pies and piles of piping-hot pita bread. Authentic spices lend the food beguiling aroma and flavor. And don’t miss the tabbouleh, a fresh and satisfying mélange of chopped parsley and cracked wheat. Though the Village spot is smaller than the original, you'll find the same beaded lamps, peach tea and delectable lamb. We prefer to fill up on starters and entrées and skip the rather disappointing desserts.
