Don Juan in Edison Park Restaurant Review:
The space isn't much to look at, but the creations, on the other hand, are. Dishes manage to be full-flavored without masking their identity. Specials are where skills really shine, be it beer-battered tempura-fried calamari with Mexican pomodoro sauce or chorizo-studded paella with pork tenderloin. Try the daily fish --- it can be especially noteworthy --- and don’t hesitate to peruse the seasonal menu, which might feature pan-fried Malpeque oysters on creamed spinach, barbecue duck taquitos atop creamy corn pudding, or venison fajitas with roasted red and poblano peppers. The regular menu is more traditional, though the food is better than your average Mexican fare.
