The historic, castle-like building on Lake Avenue offers an upscale, seafood-centric dining experience. But the long list of appetizers proves happy hour-ready, too. Start with the baked Brie, served with a tangy cranberry compote. Then try either the meaty Portuguese seafood stew, featuring scallops, shrimp, mussels and chorizo, or the pan-seared Maple Leaf Farms duck breast. An array of steaks, chops and pasta rounds out the menu. To finish, take a gander at the dessert line-up. Anything with chocolate is sure to satisfy. The wine list is well crafted with a handful of notable wines by the bottle.
