THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Downtown Grill Room Restaurant Review:

The solidly American steaks and fish from the grill are augmented by some surprising dishes such as wild rice pancakes with cilantro sour cream and wild mushrooms sautéed in garlic, shallots and scallions. The menu is the same at both lunch and dinner, with lunch portions of entrées $2 less. A full array of sandwiches and salads, and the house soup, smoked salmon-corn chowder, round out a varied menu, with daily specials changing at two-week intervals. Chef-proprietor David Pillette is the former chef of the popular Union Street who branched out on his own two years ago.
