Burgers have never been bigger in L.A., and this upscale burger bar --- the first entry in a burgeoning chain --- offers them with a touch of elegance. The décor is mid-century modern meets Hollywood glam, and a sleek bar is the centerpiece. The look helps to elevate an experience that includes burgers created from beef dry-aged for 35 days. The Eden Burger is made with American Wagyu beef, topped with your choice of cheese, heirloom tomatoes and onions, while the overly ambitious Fig Burger incorporates fresh figs, lemon-basil aïoli, smoked Gruyère, sun-dried tomatoes and crispy prosciutto. All burgers are eight ounces, juicy and prepared to a proper temperature, while truffle fries or onion rings add to the fun. Eden also offers artisan pizzas, salads and sandwiches, and for dessert a trio of Parisian-style macarons. There is a global wine list --- more impressive than one might expect at a burger joint --- as well as a formidable selection of international beers.
