El Paso Taqueria Restaurant Review:
The staff of Mt. Sinai aren’t the only ones who’ve discovered this gem of Mexican cuisine tucked away on a side street on the upper Upper East Side. A tiny taqueria that feels and looks like it was just plucked from a Mexican pueblo, El Paso serves up specialties like chilaquiles done two ways (green tomatillo or red guajillo salsa), spicy to spicier guac, and a terrific arrachera asada, a grilled skirt steak marinated in orange juice. Beverages are equally authentic and include Mexican sodas, aguas frescas, a killer lemonade, sangría, and a wide variety of Mexican beers.
