Emily Restaurant Review:
This Clinton Hill Italian eatery has been popular since it first fired up its pizza oven in early 2014. There are a dozen or so tables and a long bar at which diners can partially overlook the pizza-making process. Seasonal vegetables highlight the appetizers; the inevitable kale salad and roasted Brussels sprouts are there, of course. Pie selections come in red (meaning the sauce), pink (vodka sauce), green (tomatillo sauce) and white (no sauce). We think the sauce-less pizza bianca versions are the best, but don't neglect pasta options like the duck ragù with trumpets pasta. Also noteworthy is the Emmy Burger with dry-aged beef, pretzel bun, special sauce, caramelized onions and cheddar. The wine list bounces around from California to Italy and has some refreshingly affordable options.
Other Emily location in New York.
