Empire Little Bar Bistro
Empire is a gathering place where the after-work crowd and the late-nighters nosh on tapas and sip martinis.
Empire Little Bar Bistro Restaurant Review:
Fans of tapas-style dining should make a point to try Empire Little Bar Bistro. Throughout Spain, the small plates are usually enjoyed with sherry or other cocktails. At Empire, the martini reigns. Tapas can be as simple as olives and cheese cubes or as involved as chicken satays with coconut red curry sauce and jasmine rice or a steak quesadilla with lime crema and cucumber pico. Other hot-side favorites include seared sea scallops with pickled peaches and bacon jam, grilled andouille with soy pickled mushroom and caramelized onion, and ratatouille with goat cheese and toasted panko that will make you wonder why you didn’t like vegetables as a kid. On the cold side, the jalapeño hummus is a tasty cross-cultural mash-up. We also like the seafood ceviche with local greens and teriyaki beef with sesame udon. And, for dessert, the s’mores summon the kid in all of us. If you prefer a traditional dinner, the kitchen will turn a tapa into a meal (regular-size tapa with salad, vegetable and bread and butter) for an upcharge. Part of the local Little Bar Bistro family with other locations.
