THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED EP Delta Kitchen Restaurant Review:
Chef Michael Patrick brings fine dining with a Louisiana accent to Beale Street. The menu changes seasonally, but the permanent residents on this eclectic menu include appetizers of barbecued duck quesadillas and lobster pronto puff, the latter a battered and fried lobster tail served with rémoulade sauce. For main dishes, jambalaya always is on target, and there’s the Ragin' Cajun rib-eye, bourbon-marinated and grilled. For dessert, check out the peanut butter pie and the flourless chocolate cake. The wine list has been tamed a bit, down to a manageable 50 bottles. All of this gets lost as EP Delta Kitchen positions itself as a spacious nightclub, complete with posh décor and live music most nights. As the place allows smoking, it admits no one under the age of 21.
