This local barbecue institution, along with its sister restaurant in Oakland, dishes up some of the best ribs, chicken, barbecued beef and links this side of Memphis. The potato salad and sandwich bread sides are traditional staples, but the tangy brisket is what brings people back, all day and all night. Only a lucky few get to eat inside the smoky den. Be sure to grab plenty of napkins.
