It was part of Metreon’s goal to bring real San Francisco restaurants into the downtown Sony Entertainment complex. Firewood (the original is in the Castro) features well-prepared salads, pizza, pasta and chicken. We recommend the fire-roasted potatoes, redolent of garlic and herbs; the citrus-stuffed baked chicken; and any of the pasta dishes.
