THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Fish Market Restaurant Review:
Being tucked away in a large hotel on a ramshackle block of downtown Miami isnt the most alluring location for a restaurant, so youll have to excuse The Fish Market for not providing the energy of a crowded dining room. But the décor is swanky in a stiff sort of way, the experienced waitstaff friendly in an impersonal sort of way, and freshly prepared seafood specialties good, if you dont mind paying the price for food that merely imitates stylish culinary trends. A mix of classic fish-house preparations meets Miami-inspired New World concoctions. Many are served over pasta, such as the piquant Thai-spiced shrimp with lemon grass sauce over pepper linguine. All dishes are generously portioned, so skipping dessert (which we recommend doing) is no problem at all.
