You’ll find a wonderful mixture of Florida and Caribbean cuisine at Fisherman’s Cove. As you probably guessed from the name, the fresh fish stands out at this restaurant. But those who are looking for something else, you’ll find it here as well, from the chicken curry to a huge Cuban sandwich served with unusual but delicious sweet potato fries. While the salad bar seems to be a lost art, it is alive and well-stocked at Fisherman’s Cove. If you are hungry for a heaping helping of good fried food, go for the krazy coconut shrimp, an all-you-can-eat foodfest served with a side of coconut rice. The meat on the Trinidad ribs is slow roasted with a guava glaze and it falls off the bone. This wonderful baby back is paired with garlic mashed potatoes. Fisherman’s Cove is located in the expansive Westgate Lakes Resort between Universal Studios and SeaWorld.
