THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Flying Pig Restaurant Review:
Yet another installment of kid-friendly restaurants brought to us by the folks at Skeeter's, the Flying Pig is likely to win the hearts of grownups even more. Not only is it quieter than others from the same chain, but it also offers good wine and Bellinis. Tasteful, if simple, décor features Shaker-style wood chairs and tables against a backdrop of vintage poster art. And then there are those pigs dangling from the ceiling, available for purchase. They're a tribute to the University of Arkansas' Razorbacks, the mascot of the owner's alma mater. Despite the hokeyness of those playful porkers, there are really good pastas and salads for the parents and masses of pizza pies for the kids. The latter also have a game room tucked away in the corner, so parents can actually visit over dinner.
