Fogo de Chão Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant & décor: Located in the Irvine Spectrum, the sprawling restaurant uses soft lighting, earth tones, and a dramatic wine wall to create a sleek, elegant ambience. Secure a table inside, and you may forget you’re in the massive outdoor shopping center.
Likes: Attentive service.
Dislikes: Space around the Market Table is tight.
Food & Drinks: The venue’s immense size is a fitting design scheme for the all-you-can-eat Brazilian churrascaria, as it allows an ample area for the gauchos to traverse the dining room with skewers stacked with succulent cuts of meat, including filet mignon, rib-eye, lamb, chicken and spicy pork sausage. The expansive soup and seasonal salad bar at the center of the main dining space features plentiful side options to accompany a proper meat feast. Those not feeling the AYCE experience can try standalone dishes such as the mango Chilean sea bass or an order of select Brazilian cuts. Chocolate lovers will want to save room for a slice of the chocolate mousse cake. Guests can accompany their meal with a properly made caipirinha or a selection from the wine list. Open for brunch on weekends.
