Upper West Side meets the Left Bank at this warm and inviting bistro boasting a sidewalk café during the warmer months. Inside, antique food-market plaques, black-and-white tiled flooring, marble-topped tables and a lively bar add to the cozy ambience. The open-24/7 spot has great coffee, and along with good burgers and omelets, they do such bistro specialties as steak au poivre (with good french fries) and roasted chicken. The place is usually packed, so prepare to wait for your table.
