G. Brothers Smokehouse Restaurant Review:
This casual family-owned joint serves up authentic smokehouse barbecue. Yes, ’cue purists will quibble with the details, but this is one of the only places around that turns out true low-and-slow-smoked meats versus the area’s ubiquitous grilled Santa Maria-style barbecue. We suggest the Carolina pulled pork sandwich, brisket omelet, and smoked chicken burrito. The rest of the offerings are an approachable mash-up of predictable American and Mexican favorites for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Desserts are easily skippable, but if you want something sweet, tuck into a bag of the kettle corn, especially the chocolate-drizzled “zebra” flavor.
