Gabi James Restaurant Review:
Gabi James, a sister restaurant to Love & Salt, occupies the former Zazou space in Redondo Beach. Look for Mediterranean flavors inspired by Spain, coastal France and North Africa, with dishes featuring anchovy and olive lollipops, citrus-quince salad, “all day” oxtail ragù, tuna escabeche, pomegranate lamb chops and filet mignon au poivre. There’s a sophisticated wine list, and a cocktail program from Vincenzo Marianella that includes a bourbon number mixed with kumquats, mint and house-made vanilla syrup.
