Golden India Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Golden India’s décor is no-frills --- vinyl padded chairs, wallpaper, mahogany curtains --- but the traditional North Indian flavors are complex. The menu is heavy with curries, kormas and kebabs. And there’s a daily lunch buffet. Tandoori chicken, marinated in yogurt then cooked over hot coals, is a local hit. End the meal with the pistachio ice cream and rice pudding. Golden India offers a limited selection of inexpensive wines, including one from India, the Sula Chenin Blanc.
