Good Times at Davey Wayne's Restaurant Review:
Twin brothers Jonnie and Mark Houston (Pour Vous, La Descarga, etc.) opened Good Times at Davey Wayne's in honor of their father, David Wayne Houston. Upon arrival, guests are met with a garage full of vintage clothing and records for sale. Through a door disguised as a refrigerator one can enter into the lounge, similarly adorned with classic 70's decor: hanging pendant lamps, a driftwood coffee table and a lot of orange. A brief food menu is offered, including bacon-wrapped hot dogs, Korean-spiced chicken wings and carne asada tacos. The cocktail menu consists of themed creations like the Tiny Dancer (salted grapefruit peel infused Lillet Rose, Aperol and sparkling wine). Expect an authentic 70's soundtrack to bring the experience home.
