Googie Burger Restaurant Review:
In summer, Centennial Olympic Park’s Fountains of Rings throbs with kids in swimsuits splashing away before (or after) they’ve had a burger at Googie. Or they might come from the nearby Imagine it! The Children's Museum of Atlanta for a burger before the ride home. Either way, parents know that the food is made with quality ingredients: hand-cut fries, crisp from being cooked in peanut oil and with good potato flavor; all-beef hot dogs; monster French onion rings; whipped cream-topped milk shakes (grown-ups may spike theirs with alcoholic additions); and fried pickles. Vegetarians will find a brown rice-black bean burger, and folks avoiding red meat can opt for a turkey burger and chicken items. For quaffs, there's freshly squeezed lemonade, and while wines are offered, you're better off with a beer from Atlanta's own SweetWater.
