The Grill at Hunter Ranch

The Grill at Hunter Ranch Restaurant Review:

This is one golf course grill that goes above and beyond the usual hot dogs and chips. Standout menu items include avocado egg rolls, the open-face prime rib sandwich with au jus, and anything with the sweet/salty “Kelly’s bacon” on it, especially the "Tropic" sandwich with ham, pineapple and provolone on a house-made roll. The wine list embraces the restaurant’s location in Paso’s wine country, and there’s draft beer available, too. Inside seating is available at tables or at the bar, but the wraparound deck has sweeping vineyard views. (Typically, The Grill is only open for breakfast and lunch, but weekend dinners are offered seasonally.)
