Happy Greek Restaurant Review:
Wall murals set the scene and a Mediterranean menu completes it at the Happy Greek in the Short North. The quarters are small, giving the place a neighborhood feel. It would be easy to make a meal of the appetizers and a dessert: shrimp sautéed in red wine-kissed tomato sauce with garlic, feta and Romano or flaming cheese, pan-seared, ignited tableside and doused with lemon. When it comes to main courses, the Grecian seafood trio of shrimp, scallops and mussels sautéed in extra virgin olive oil with roasted eggplant, green peppers, spinach, fresh herbs, portobello mushrooms, red onion and garlic topped with lemon sauce and Pecorino Romano always wins. Save room for baklava, served in four different varieties: walnut, chocolate-almond, pistachio and chocolate chip. Complete your meal with Greek beer or wine.
