Harvest on Fort Pond Restaurant Review:

This Montauk destination offers family-style Mediterranean fare from chef Jake Williams. Even though the dishes are traditionally shared, the portions are still huge, so be prepared to eat (the restaurant does offer half portions). The menu changes regularly in accordance with the seasons, but options often include a whopping 40-ounce porterhouse steak. Among appetizers are a variety of salads, grilled pizzas and seafood like pancetta roast shrimp or steamed mussels. Mains propose a few pasta dishes as well as a good number of local seafood options like swordfish piccata or grilled salmon with cucumbers, dates and walnuts. Meatier options are the Harvest burger and a pork tenderloin with apricot apple chutney. Desserts include Italian-influenced profiteroles and tiramisu, but also apple blueberry pie and a fresh fruit ice cream sandwich. The wine list has several international options by the glass, and a small selection of both draught and bottled brews will keep beer-lovers happy. Service is friendly and attentive.
