Then hit up this Prospect Heights restaurant and explore a menu that focuses on street food, particularly what one might find at night markets and hawker bars. Buns come in a handful of variations-on-a-theme, including juicy pork belly, but the chili cumin lamb steals the show. Crispy Thai-spiced chicken and curry short ribs, accompanied by large lettuce leaves for wrapping, are an ideal sharing plate. More adventurous eaters won’t turn away from chicken hearts and snails in black beans. Six signature cocktails all use Asian ingredients and all are worth imbibing. Otherwise, there’s a small selection of decent, affordable wines.
