The restaurant in the lobby of this boutique hotel presents one of those rare instances where the intensely trendy combines with truly good food. Among the best dishes are the artichoke salad with crispy strips of Spanish-style ham, tuna tartare, broiled lamb chops and cod broiled in miso. Eating here is a pleasant experience, either in the light-filled lobby or in smaller rooms just off it, for a more intimate feel. Lunch is for dining, while dinner is a scene, with the music cranked up for a younger crowd.
